In celebration of St David's Day 2023, a series of five pocket guides were published to encourage people to learn some Welsh words and phrases. The series was created in partnership between the Ecoamgueddfa and Nant Gwrtheyrn, after Ceri Williams, former marketing officer at Nant Gwrtheyrn, visited Cornwall and discovered similar leaflets promoting the Cornish language.

• And the most popular one, Welsh in the pub!

 

Since the publication of the first series in 2023, we have now published three new leaflets in collaboration with the National Eisteddfod, National Theatre Wales, the Arfor Scheme, and the Welsh Rugby Union, namely Welsh at the Eisteddfod, Welsh in the Theatre, and Welsh on the Rugby Field.
